Challenge

To help consumers and professionals understand the different product and price positions offered by the leading bathroom, central heating and sanitary fittings retailer, by making product and price information clearer and less confusing.

Brand vision

To bring unity and order into a vast range of products, through the creation of three distinct sub-brands, each linked to Van Marcke’s main brand. Thus creating a three-tier structure, in which the price and positioning offer, associated with each product range, could be clearly communicated.

Design solution

In creating three distinct sub-brands with their corresponding price positions; ‘Intro’ (basic), ‘Origine’ (mainstream) and ‘Collection’ (premium), we were able to segment products into clearly identifiable groups by giving each group it’s own unique design, style and architecture. Through simplification of text, illustrations and emotional cues, we also clarified each product offer and enhanced overall communication.
